About Us

Dr. Pattinson is a reproductive endocrinologist and specializes in infertility, gynecology and obstetrics and participates in the Obstetric call schedule. He delivers babies in the Family Birthing Centre, Windsor Regional Hospital - Metropolitan Campus.​

Training:  Medical degree from University of Liverpool, England, (1976 ) and then specialization and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
One year of additional training, specializing in infertility microsurgery, in Leuven, Belgium.
Two years of fellowship training in Infertility/Reproductive Endocrinology,  Calgary, Alberta, 1982-84
Assistant/Associate Professor, Dept OB/Gyn, University of Calgary, 1985-1995
Director, Infertility Clinic and IVF Programme, Calgary - 1988-95

Private reproductive health care practice in Windsor, Ontario since 1995, with a particular interest in management of infertility.
Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Windsor Regional Hospital 2007 to 2013

English - with a British accent
Dutch - reasonably good - with a Flemish accent
French - just about enough to get by at a pinch
Mandarin Chinese - still very rudimentary, but working hard at it!

Mary Pattinson 

Dr. Pattinson works with his wife Mary, who is a registered nurse who trained at St Claire college and Hotel Dieu Hospital. She worked as a nurse in Emergency Departments in Windsor and Calgary and then practiced as a genetics counsellor.  This led her to doing a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Calgary.  Mary provides counselling for the Donor Insemination program, nursing and lab services and manages the practice.


Shelley  Is a part time nurse who used to work on the Post-Partum unit at Windsor Regional Hospital.


Cheryl  Is our hard working receptionist


We understand that infertility is an emotionally difficult problem.  We make every attempt to accommodate your needs for prompt investigations and treatment, but there are days and times that I am not able to practice in the clinic due to the workloads of other physicians there.  Please be patient and we ask that you treat all staff members with respect.
